Meet the Team: David Burnham

David leads finance and administration for PowerLabs, leveraging a rare blend of rigorous analytical training and real operating experience, across some of the industry's most respected institutions. Growing up with a curiosity that pulled him in two directions, David studied Psychology as an undergraduate at Bowdoin College, then went on to complete an MS in Accounting and an MBA at Northeastern University.
That combination led him into a finance career, as an executive at Fidelity Investments, where he spent years navigating one of the largest asset managers in the world. From there, David took on a leadership role building and running the finance team at Alumni Ventures, helping scale the firm's financial infrastructure as it grew.
He came to PowerLabs to bring that same discipline to a company built for speed and execution, overseeing our financial strategy, reporting, and the systems that let the rest of the team move fast with confidence.
FUN FACT
Outside the office, David is a father of six and a lifelong competitive runner. He's also been an avid bread baker since long before it was a pandemic hobby.
