Welcome to the team, Brian Teeple, our new Chief Technical Officer

Brian Teeple, PhD., has officially taken the helm for PowerLabs’ product team, serving as the company’s Chief Technology Officer. Previously, Brian served as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Data Officer for the Department of Homeland Security, after stints at the Pentagon, National Reconnaissance Office, and Raytheon. He will head up product development for our team of engineers, including interns and students from various regional educational institutions. His experience across the industry brings a new level of excellence and professionalism to product development work, sets a standard to strive for, and is a statement of what is to come.

Dr. Teeple earned his PhD in Aerospace Systems with a minor in Power and Propulsion from MIT, for work designing nozzles to mix rocket fuel for optimal propulsion. He rounds out our leadership to bring PowerLabs into the next phase of its mission. He will work alongside Joey Fiore, Founder and CEO, the ideator behind PowerLabs as a whole, and David Burnham, CFO, whose resume includes Vice President of Finance for Fidelity Investments and a consistent mentor to start-ups in the Boston ecosystem.
